Maggie Lou Crane

Maggie Lou Crane, age 80, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home following an extended illness. Maggie was born on March 14, 1940 in Hayesville, North Carolina to the late Mr. and Mrs. Barn and Dessie (Arrowood) Crane. Maggie was well known around town for her walks to Ingles and through the city; she enjoyed being outside and talking to people along her way. She also enjoyed listening to Gospel music, her porcelain dolls and cats. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Crane and sister, Donnie Wood. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William Mark and Marilyn Crane; son, Roger Michael Crane; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Joslyn Ledford; brother, Darence Ledford; grandchildren Cody Crane and Tiffany Crane; great grandchildren Matthew Woodall, Mason Woodall and Mattie Wehunt and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. 

Pallbearers: Adam Tucker, Jerry Bolin, Brandon Campbell, Christopher Whitten, Cody Crane and Odom Tucker. 

Visitation: Friday, July 3, 2020 10-11AM at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home. 
Funeral: Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Bansiter-Cooper Funeral Home 
Interment: Joab Ledford Family Cemetery
