Margaret Smith

Margaret Charline Smith (better known as Micky), age 91 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away peacefully  Saturday, July 24, 2021 with her family by her side at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Micky was born March 14, 1930 to the late Charles and Marjorie(Crow) Meyer in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Micky was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1992. She was a funny woman who lived life to the fullest. She was also a turtle lover, she had two pet turtles for many years and at age 75 she got her first tattoo of one. She received special care for many years from her daughter-in-law Linda M. Curtis
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years Jim Harris; and late husband, Larry Smith.
She is survived in death by her daughters, Paula Butscha of Kentucky, Bentley Yeager of Kentucky; sons, Tony and Danny Harris of Hiawassee, Georgia; grandchildren, Daniel Hunley, Shannon Seahorn, Landon Harris; six great-grandchildren, Sapphire, Emerald, Bricelynn, Kabree, Jada, Skylar and Kason Avery on the way.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
Banister-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Smith.
