Marilyn C Bostrom

Marilyn C. Bostrom, age 88 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee, Georgia. She was born in Chicago IL on June 10, 1933 to the late Mr. Burton Robert and Katherine (Jenkins) Clement.  She was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist for 25 years. Marilyn and her late husband Jack built their home in Young Harris in 1995 and immediately made friends and loved all the mountains had to offer. She had many talents; she loved making quilts and used that talent to help teach people in the community about sewing and quilting; especially while working at Art Works where she has been a Board Member. She also enjoyed playing the organ, traveling and camping with her husband and visiting extended family members. Surprisingly she had her own motorcycle. She was an independent person who would rather help than be helped.
