Mark Crane

William Mark Crane, age 56 of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020. Mark was born April 21, 1964 to the late Earl and Maggie (Ledford) Crane in Hiawassee, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived in death by his wife, Marilyn Crane; brother, Michael Crane; niece, Tiffany Crane Campbell; nephew, Cody Crane; great niece, Madison Wehunt; great nephews, Matthew and Mason Woodall; uncle, Clarence Ledford and cousin, Roger Ledford. Mark was what many would call a "jack of all trades", he worked for his cousin Roger for over 25 years, helped Ken and Sue Entrekin feed and tend to their cattle and often picked up side jobs just to help someone else out. He was easy going, very likable and down to earth. Mark enjoyed playing horseshoes, being outdoors and especially watching NASCAR and spending time at Memory Lane car museum.

Visitation: Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home from 4:00PM-6:00PM
Service: Thursday, December 31, 2020 in the chapel of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home at 6:00PM with Rev. Ken Nicholson officiating.
