Mary Fletcher

Mrs. Mary Louise Fletcher, age 69, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on October 4, 2021 following a brief illness. Mary was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 25, 1952 to the late Eugene and Martha Tatom. Mary was a regular attendee of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church for a number of years and a member at Alpharetta United Methodist Church before moving to Hiawassee. She was an outgoing lady who volunteered for CASA and the Towns County Election Board. Mary was strong willed and had deep beliefs in many subjects, politics being at the top of her list. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Mark, and was always by his side helping with what ever needed to be done. Mary loved to travel for fun and went on many mission trips, spreading her caring heart to all those in need. To know Mary was to love her. She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Fletcher; son, Sean Matthew Fletcher; and daughter and husband Amy Faye Fletcher and Josh Pervorse.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church at 3:00PM.
