Mary Katheryn Palmer

Mary Katheryn Palmer, age 80, of Hiawassee, GA passed away February 6, 2020 at Misty Meadows Care Home in Suches, GA. Katheryn was born June 6, 1939 to the late Donald and Blanche (Hogsed) Palmer. Katheryn enjoyed watching television and taking care of her cats and birds. She lived several years and worked in Atlanta at a boarding house. 
Katheryn is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carolyn Palmer; and niece, ShawnRhea Palmer. She is survived in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Lois Palmer; uncle, Lake Hogsed and several first cousins. The family will receive friends Friday, February 14, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Banister-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Bradley Thomas officiating. Interment will follow the service at Enotah Baptist Church Cemetery. Banister-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
