Mary Lynn Scott

Mary Lynn Scott, age 86 of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025. Mary Lynn was born December 14, 1938 to the late Ernest and Eleonora (Schweizer) Leidecker in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi for many years. She married her sweetheart in 1956 and they had three children together. She loved German music and was an avid bingo player with her friends she had made at Brasstown Manor.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Scott.

She is survived by her sons, Ernest Carl Scott, Bernard Smiley Scott Jr.; daughter, Donna Lynn Scott; sister, Leonore Genevieve Smallridge; grandchildren, Carl Coles, Jonathan Coles, Derek Coles, Matthew Coles, Kristen Mills; nineteen great-grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi in Blairsville, Georgia.
