Mr. Michael Worth Hedden, age 52 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at his home. He was born to Forrest E. and Shirley (Welch) Hedden in Towns County, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest E. Hedden, and a brother, David Hedden. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Hedden of Hiawassee, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Christy & Steven Bennett, of Alto, GA; Jennifer Hedden, of Mt. Airy, GA; Jessica & Brian Freeman, of Toccoa, GA; brother, Sam Hedden, of Hiawassee, GA; sisters, Susan Hogsed, of Hayesville, NC; Forresa Hedden, of Hiawassee, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 02, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Shoemaker officiating. Music was provided by the Church congregation. Pallbearers were Mike Hogsed, Ricky Smith, Johnny Lezinski, John Ashe, Wayne Miller and Steven Bennett. Interment was in Russell cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
