Mildred E Haigler

Mrs. Mildred Haigler age 77 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007. She was born to the late Frankin McKinley and Verdie Emiline (Duckworth) Ensley on May 02, 1930 in Union County, GA. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Zachary Shepard. She is survived by daughters, Laura Jane Turner, of Houston, TX and Elizabeth Ruth Palmer, of Chicago, IL; sons James Martin Brown, Jr. of Augusta, GA; Joseph Blair Turner, of Oakwood, GA; Jarrett Stephen Turner, of Rome, GA; brothers, Bob Ensley, Sam Ensley, both of Blairsville, GA and Franklin Ensley, Jr. of Hiawassee, GA; sisters, Willa Bel (Fritz) Caylor, Of Blairsville, GA; Sara Smith, of Las Vegas, NV; seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be on October 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Union Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Hoyt Allen officiating. Music was provided by Jean Ward and Claudette Griffin. Pallbearers were Morgan Brown, Matthew Bray, Adam Turner, Nathan Turner, Jesse Turner and Jarrett Turner. Honorary pallbearers were Sammy Ensley, Jr. and Tray Hicks. Eulogy was by Dr. Joseph B. Turner. Interment was be in Holly Hills cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be sent to the VFW Thrift Store or to the Mountain Shelter Humane Society.
