Myrtle Mozel Arrowood, age 86 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on September 05, 2014 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. She was born to the late Grover and Ioma (Shook) Foster on November 05, 1927. She was the wife of Rolan Richard Arrowood and Mother of ten children with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers. She completed her journey in the early morning hours to be with God. We want to thank Dr. Stahlkuppe, and other Drs. And nurses at the hospital and Chatuge Nursing Home staff. Each and everyone along with the residents there that helped make Momâs life more comfortable and enjoyable these past four plus years. Thank you for loving her and showing her compassion. Thank you for making her welcome and for allowing her to make you all part of her family. Coming in the door and seeing Mom laughing and talking with you girls while you did her fingernails, made my heart full of gratitude. You all make her enjoy her room. From the kitchen to the staff to Laundry, CNA, Nurses, Maintenance for taking care of the yard. Janet, All of you made Momâs life more enjoyable and more comfortable. Thank You and may God richly bless each of you and your families. Thank you to all her many friends and acquaintances in the community for all the prayers so many of you have prayed for Mom, for going to visit her and others there when you could. Mom loved and appreciated each of you. Thank you to all the church groups and pastors that come to the nursing home, as well as the singers and the preachers, you all are such a blessing to Mom and everyone there, Thank You. Thank you to her room mates in the different rooms there at the Nursing Home. Your concern for her health and well-being touched her heart and she was hurt and saddened when you all suffered. She was glad when you all were feeling well. All of you touched Momâs life there in different ways. I am glad God allowed Mom to be a part of Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. She made her room home and all of you there as friends and family. We are so grateful and thankful to each of you. I pray each of you to lean on God for strength to do what you must day to day until God calls you home. May you all remember and reflect on the songs I know you heard from Momâs room. If you havenât or donât know the Bible may you read it and you will know why it was so important to Mom to pray and read her Bible and to go to Lower Hightower Church as long as she could. Mom loved and and trusted God for herself and her family and every person connected in any way with the Hospital of Nursing home, residents, staff or visitor will trust God for their salvation and live the best they can for Him., God does know all and He will call us when He is ready. You all have blessed me by me being there. Thank You, I Love all of you and pray Gods blessing on all.
