Ollie Mae Kimsey

Ollie Mae Kimsey, age 89, passed away on March 19, 2025. She was born in Blairsville, Ga. to John Ester & Cordie Hunter on April 20, 1935.

Ollie was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she enjoyed the womens group activities, Biblical teaching and Guidance and delighted in the music ministries. She was a true devoted home maker and involved with her family on a daily basis. She enjoyed cooking their favorites, designing and sewing and flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two brothers, John L. Hunter & Neal Hunter. She is also survived by her children, Cynthia (Mike) King, Reggie (Susan) Kimsey, & Andrew Kimsey (Kyle). Grand children Brandon King, Lauren (Matt) Filbeck, Ashley (Shawn) Owens. Great Grand Children Peyton Owens and Ila Filbeck. A number of other loving nieces, nephews and cousins and friends also survive.

Mrs. Kimsey will lie in state for visitation at Macedonia Baptist Church in Hiawassee on Saturday, March 22,2025 from 2-4 pm With funeral service following at 4 pm. Interment at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Pallbearears: Brandon King, Matthew Filbeck, Kent Hunter, Jeff Hunter, Leslie Hunter and Larry Hunter.

Visitation: Saturday, March 22, 2025 2:00-4:00 at Macedonia Baptist Church

Funeral: Saturday, March 22, 2025 4:00 at Macedonia Baptist Church

Interment: Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery
