Peggy West

 On December 11. 2023 Peggy Ann Peterman, 13 th child of Newton and Jeffie G.
 Peterman of Butler, GA left this earthly world after celebrating 92 years of life. Her life
 began September 6, 1931 at the family residence in Taylor  County, not far from Midway
 Cemetery where her parents and grandparents are buried. After attending Taylor
 County High School, Peggy moved to Bonaire, GA to begin a career at Robins Air Force
 Base, in Warner Robins, GA where she retired after 38 years of service as a
 Communication Security Liasson. Her job took her to Michigan, South Korea, Arizona
 and Florida until her retirement.

Peggy was an avid golfer making four holes in one during her lifetime, a lover of good
books, a Master Gardner, member of the Hiawassee Garden Club, member of McConnell
Memorial Baptist Church of Hiawassee, GA a world traveler, a staunch Republican
supporter, and a major stock investor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twelve brothers and sisters, husbands
Roswell W. Locke, Daniel A. West and her beloved son, Roswell Tim Locke.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband Allan Driskell and his daughters
Becky Wentzel and Laurie Croy plus a host of Peterman family nieces, nephews, great
and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
The Graveside service for Peggy West took place at Magnolia Park Cemetery, Warner
Robins, GA on December 13, 2023.
