Phyllis Lena Garrett

Mrs. Phyllis Lena Garrett, age 69, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. Phyllis was born on October 13, 1949 to the late Andrew and Annie (McCracken) Welborn in Rabun County, Georgia. She was a good hearted woman and a loving wife. She would help anyone in their time of need. Phyllis leaves behind her husband of 32 years, Mr. David Garrett of Hiawassee, Georgia; daughters, Jolena Nichols of Hiawassee, Georgia and Maria Garrett of Miami, Florida; son, Paris Nichols of Rabun County, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Amber Garrett of Pendergrass, Georgia; sister, Glenis Pritchett of Rabun County, Georgia; grandson, Justin Nichols; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. 

Visitation: Sunday, September 1, 2019 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home

Graveside Service: Sunday, September 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Osborn Cemetery

Pallbearers: Kenny, Dave, Bill, Robert & Ryan
