Phyllis Ann Murray

Phyllis Ann Murray, age 77, born January 12, 1948, in Rome, Ny. She was the oldest of ten siblings, on a dairy farm, giving her strong work ethics, as well as a nurturing, caring personality.

 Phyllis met the man of her life, Wayne Murray, while he was stationed at Rome Air Force base. Through the years of marriage, she was very supportive of many business adventures, Wayne took up, many times working side by side, through the hardships and the prosperous times.Phyllis was a loving, caring, supportive mother to two surviving children, Jill Gardella and J.R. Murray, and one infant child, Wayne(Skip) Murray Jr., whom preceded her in death at three months old. Phyllis shared a love for the outdoors, especially with horses and her canine companion Shadow, who stayed by her side for many years. 

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Edward Murray; her parents, Harlan and Hattie Lalonde; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Donna Lalonde; brother, Roger LaLonde; sister-in-law, Janet Murray; brothers-in-law, Michael McNealy, Lance Smith and Tim Murray. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Murray; son and daughter-in-law, J.R. and Amy Murray; grandchildren, Garrett and Brock Murray and Abigail Gardella; brothers, Dennis (Theresa) LaLonde, Harlan (Robyn) LaLonde; sisters, Becky McNealy, Dorotha Smith, Debbie Stockbridge, Alice (Nazie) Adlofi, Beth (Vito) Spoon; and sister-in-law, Mary LaLonde; and brother and sister-in-law Dale and Diane Murray. 

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
