Robert "Hoyle" H Bryson

SUBJECT: OBIT FOR MR.ROBERT HOYLE BRYSON, SR. Mr. Robert "Hoyle" Bryson, Sr. age 95 of Young Harris, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Andy and Margaret (Sampson) Bryson on November 27, 1913 in Towns County, GA. He was a Deacon and Member of Old Union Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Bob Bryson, of Hiawassee, GA; Bryan Bryson, of Cleveland, GA; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a Special Friend, Janice Walls and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11:00AM from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Hogsed and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Eulogy was spoken by Mr. Zell Miller. Music was provided by Dorothy, Ulysses and Phillip Sampson. Pallbearers were: Odell Plott, Byron McCombs, Dustin Burch, Clarence Collins, Rick Robinson and Gene Coker. Honorary pallbearers were: Bobby Smith and Charles Erwin. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Old Union Baptist Church, 1722 Old Union Church Rd. Young Harris, GA 30582.
