Robert Gene Neal

Mr. Robert Gene Neal, age 86 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 08, 2012 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Dee K. and Evalyn (Roodhouse) Neal on August 14, 1925 in Roodhouse, IL. He was preceded in death by son, Timothy Neal. He was the president of J.L. Simmons Company. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Neal, of Young Harris, GA; daughter, Stacey Dahlstrom, of  Centreville, MD; Patricia Jean Neal, of Duluth, GA; son, David Neal, of Olney, MD; Daniel Neal, of Lake Bluff, IL; sister Barbara Mercer, of Bartonville, IL; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. A service will be held at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
