Rondy L Chastain

Mr. Rondy Lee Chastain age 44 of Hiawassee, GA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. He was born to the late Phillip and Jeannette (Underwood) Chastain on October 27, 1963 in Clay County, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmother, Gladys Underwood, and sister, Phyllis Louise Chastain. He is survived by daughter, Amanda Chastain, of Hiawassee, GA; son, Rondy Chastain, Jr. of Bryson City, NC; brothers, David Chastain, of Brasstown, NC; Brad Chastain, of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Nanette Dean, of Mt. Airy, GA; granddaughter, Serenidy Bell Lacky and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. David Berrong officiating. Pallbearers were: Rondy Lee Chastain, Jr., Darrell Garrett, Edward Garrett, David Garrett, Scott Plott and Jimmy Howell . Music was provided by Barbara Oakes. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Banister Funeral Home, P.O Box 70, Hiawassee, GA to offset funeral expenses. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
