Ronnie Ledford

Ronnie Monroe Ledford, age 53, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away, Thursday, April 29, 2021. Ronnie was born April 3,1968 to Monroe and Evelyn (Denton) Ledford in Hiawassee, Georgia.
Ronnie was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God. He loved his family and his home here in the mountains. His motto was "When turkey's don't gobble you go fishing". He worked with Blue Ridge Mountain EMC for 25 years and the guys were like a second family to him. He was a determined man but also loved to crack jokes and enjoy a good laugh with his family and friends. Ronnie never met a stranger and would gladly help anyone, he also enjoyed music and passed that down to his children. Ronnie will be incredibly missed by all who knew him.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his Mother, Evelyn Ledford. He is survived in death by his wife of 34 years Renee Ledford; father, Monroe Ledford; daughters, Haley (Michael) Barrett, Kendra Ledford; grandson, Grayson Barrett; aunt, Burnette (C.J.) Nichols; cousin, Colby Nichols; brother-in-law, Duane Ledford; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Linda Ledford and many extended family and friends.

Visitation: Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00am at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Eller officiating.
