Royce Riker Spring III

Royce Riker Spring III, age 37, of Hiawassee Georgia passed away Saturday July 1, 2023. Royce was born August 18,1985 in Tallahassee, Florida to Rick and Melanie Spring. He was a trained locksmith and enjoyed solving challenges in the locksmith trade. He was talented in working with many aspects of computer technology. His education was in Forestry and Wildlife Management. He loved camping and enjoyed having a campfire with his friends. He enjoyed being on the water and was an avid fisherman. He looked forward to planting his vegetable garden in the spring. He also was a very talented artist and drew pictures of animals, reptiles, people, scenery, boats and a variety of other things. He enjoyed playing guitar and writing his own songs and listening to music and playing video games. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends and his dogs. Royce was a fun and loving father to his son.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Preston G. Spring, grandparents Joseph and Nancy Tharp and John and Dotty Canavan, and his Uncle John Canavan Jr. He is survived by his parents Rick and Melanie Spring; son R. Riker Spring IV;sister Catherine Rogers, Uncle Bryant Tharp, Aunt Melissa (Mike) Winter, Aunt Melinda (Deven) Clemens, Uncle Rodney (Linda) Spring, Uncle Brandon Spring, Aunt Shawn Comeau, Aunt Anne Eng, Great Aunt Ina Brennan. He is also survived by cousins Natyka (Sean) Rosichelli and children Riley and Mason, Morgan and Ashley Clemens, Riker and Julie Spring, Kitty and Maggie Comeau, April and Iris Canavan. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
