Ruby Marie Rhinehardt, age 81 of Young Harris, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 after an extended illness. Ruby was born to the late William Arbra and Beulah (Shuler) Hunnicutt on April 27, 1943 in Hiawassee, Georgia. She was a member of Woods Grove Baptist Church. She worked at Chatuge Regional Hospital for thirty years and a number of years at Towns County School as the school nurse. After retiring she spent many years working with Genealogy. She was a caring, nurturing lady who loved going places with her family and working in her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mitchell Rhinehardt; brother, William Bill Hunnicutt; sister, Ruth Hunnicutt Rogers.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, H.L. "Bobo" Rhinehardt; daughter, Michelle (Gary) Pyrlik; brother-in-law, Jimmy Rogers; grandsons, Craig Rhinehardt, Jake Pyrlik, Caden Pyrlik, Nick Pyrlik; a number of siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation: Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 12:00-3:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral: Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 3:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating.
Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery.
