Sandra Gail Lawson

Mrs. Sandra Gail Lawson, age 72, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Lawson was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 15, 1945 to the late William T. and Mattie (Doyal) Bailey. She was of the Protestant faith. Sandra was a big hearted woman, devoted wife. loving mother, grandmother and GG . She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lamar Lawson; daughter, Paula Christine Cullen; daughter and son-in-law, Tammie Michelle and Albie Lafferty; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky Lamar and Lisa Lawson; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Eric Mulkey; sister, Sheila Smith; grandchildren, Diamond Stone , Brittany Hallman, Karrie Miller (Thomas), Allan Thomas, Khristal Thomas, Tyler Mulkey, Madison Mulkey, and Ethan Mulkey; great grandchildren, Iverson Jones, Jada Jones, Jordan Jones, Dakota Miller, Brandon Miller, Gavin Thomas, and Caleb Hallman. 

Visitation: Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home

Service: Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating. Music provided by Ryan Wilson. 

Pallbearers: Eric Mulkey, Albie Lafferty, Keith Lawson, Allan Thomas, Mike Thomas, Brandon Hallam, Iverson Jones and Tyler Mulkey.

Honorary pallbearers: Dakota Miller, Brandon Miller, Ethan Mulkey, Caleb Hallman, and Gavin Thomas.

Interment: Laurel Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery
