Susie Ferguson

Susie Bell (Sue) Ferguson, age 76, of Huey Lane in Hiawassee, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2020 after a battle with leukemia at North East Georgia Medical Center. Susie was born on June 23, 1943 in Hiawassee, Georgia; daughter of Huey and Mae Bell (Shook) Ferguson. She was a member of Enotah Baptist Church. Susie was a very giving and kind person and would share vegetables with anyone from her garden, whether they needed them or not. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Odena Denton; a nephew, Thomas Daly and a niece Vicki Denton. Survivors include three sisters, Alma Ferguson of Piedmont, South Carolina, Linda Johnson of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Alline Daly of Hiawassee, Georgia; one brother, David Ferguson of Hiawassee, Georgia; 8 nieces and nephews also survive. Pallbearers: Henry Miller, Blake Miller, Chris Denney, Chris Denton, Josh Denton and Brett Denton. 

Graveside Services: Burch Cemetery, May 12, 2020 at 2:00PM with Pastor Donnie Jarrard officiating. We ask that CDC suggestions remain in place for the well being of all.
