Vella Marion Berrong

Mrs. Vella Marion Nations Berrong, age 79, of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Thursday, April 05, 2012 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Jasper and Lola (Chastain) Nations on March 19, 1933 in Hiawassee, GA. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Glover Berrong, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Chuck Allison; sons, Terry Berrong, of Scottsboro, AL; Dennis Berrong, of Dallas, TX; and Robert Berrong, of TN. There will be a graveside service for Mrs. Berrong, on Friday, April 06, 2012 at 2:30 PM, from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery in Hayesville, NC with Rev. David Berrong officiating. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
