Warden M. Hogsed

Warden M. Hogsed, age 82, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Warden was born on December 12, 1941 in Hayesville, North Carolina to the late Boyd and Anna Mae Hogsed. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was a good Christian man who loved God and gospel music. He worked for over twenty years as a barber in Stone Mountain. In his free time he enjoyed sitting on his back porch watching the humming birds come to the feeder and the animals in his yard. Warden was a talker, he would talk to anyone.

 Warden is preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his wife, Janice Nicholson Hogsed and many dear friends.

Visitation: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home

Funeral Service: Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 2:00pm at Banister-Cooper Funeral Home. 

Interment will follow at Enotah cemetery.

Banister-Cooper is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Hogsed.
