Wentworth Clarke

Dr. Wentworth Clarke, age 95, of Hiawassee, Georgia , passed away, Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Wentworth was born on April 6, 1926, to the late Walter and Iva (Wentworth) Clarke in Boston. Wentworth was an educator for over 40 years, in high school, college, and graduate levels.

He enjoyed traveling, both internationally and within the states. He loved nature and the outdoors, hiking and fishing, and had a special admiration for the National Parks. He had a warm feeling for all animals and especially his cat, Cappy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen (Geisler) Clarke, and daughter, Hope Clarke. He is survived in death by his daughter, Robin Clarke; son, Karl W. Clarke, and daughter-in-law, Cecilia Clarke; grandchildren, Jonathan Clarke and Lindsey Clarke; and great-grandchild, Hope Clarke.
