William Rondal Burrell

William Rondal Burrell, age 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21st 2023 at Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee. 

Rondal is survived by many that loved him dearly. This includes son and daughter-in-law, Cody and Jessica Burrell, along with grandson, Jackson; Rondal’s brothers and sisters: Nolan Burrell, Ann and David Berrong, Linda and Roy Ledford; Along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.    

Rondal was born to JayTee and Lois Burrell on April 28th, 1952. He attended grade school in Hiawassee, GA and went on to complete his nursing degree at North Georgia College. Rondal served as a nurse and nursing administrator for 30 years and helped many people during this time. Following that chapter, Rondal went on to own and operate an automotive shop for a number of years, eventually moving on to manage various other automotive departments before retiring in his hometown on Hiawassee, GA. Outside of professional achievements, Rondal was a loving father and left a lasting impact on those around him. He was well known for his sense of humor and giving nature. He had a passion for building/repairing cars and was quick to offer guidance and help to those that needed it.    

Rondal’s ashes will be laid to rest on the afternoon of Saturday April 8th, 2023 on Jay Tee Rd where he had some of his fondest childhood memories.
