William G Erwin

Mr. William Gary Erwin, age 64 of Blairsville, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late William and Mary Lee (Souther) Erwin on September 14, 1943 in Summit County, OH. He is survived by cousins, O.E. Deaver, of Blairsville, GA and Charles Souther, of Huntsville, AL. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Pallbearers were Stanley Stepp, Derek Stepp, Josh Stepp, Jim Reece, Bryan Souther and Brett Deaver. Music was provided by Ebenezer Baptist Church choir. Interment was in Old Union Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
