William Hunnicutt

William "Bill" Hunnicutt, age 78, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born to the late William (Arbra) and Beula (Shuler) Hunnicutt on November 14, 1944.

Bill loved to play the guitar and he sang for a living most of his life. Some of the highlights of his career was playing at the Grand Ole Opry. More recently he spent his time taking care of his companion Mrs. Violet Brown.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Sim Ballard, James Ballard; sister, Ruth Rogers. He is survived in death by his children; Lynn Cole and Mark Riley; sister and brother in law, Ruby and Harold Rhinehardt; grandchildren, Autumn Cole, Amber Cole, Grace Riley, Gabrielle Riley, Grant Riley; companion, Violet Brown.

Services: Monday, November 21, 2022, Graveside at Osborn Cemetery at 1:00PM.

Banister-Cooper Funeral Home is in charge of the services for Mr. Hunnicutt.
