Willie M Puett

Mrs. Willie Mae Puett, age 91 of York, PA (formerly of Hiawassee, GA) passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late William and Mae (Norton) Alexander on February 09, 1917 in Towns County, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Luther Puett in March of 1989 and son, Mr. Billy Puett in October of 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Joann Bailey, of York, PA; son, Chester Puett of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; grandchildren, Stacey Bailey, of York, PA; Scott Bailey, of Maplewood, NJ; Chester Puett, Jr., Shelly Lynn Puett, Curtis Puett, Alan Puett and Mark Puett all of Akron, OH; great grandchild, Luke Bailey and a number of other great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on September 21, 2008 at 2:00PM from Old Brasstown Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Stiles officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Bailey, Gerald Messer, Tony Shook, Pat Phillips, Don Phillips and Troy Phillips. Music was provided by Ulysses, Dorothy and Phillip Sampson. Interment was in Old Brasstown Baptist Church cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements
