Wilma F Hunt

Mrs. Wilma "Faye" Hunt age 85 of Brandon, MS (formerly of Young Harris,GA) passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 of an extended illness. She was born to the late Ulysses and Florence (Puett) Brown on July 31, 1922 in Graham County, NC. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Joel "Scud" Hunt, of the home; daughters, Sue McGinley, of Brandon, MS; and Cathie Stephens, of Eureka, MO; sister, Sue Huggins, of Blairsville, GA; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Pallbearers were: Charles Jenkins, David Phillips, Steven Phillips, Joel Huggins and Dillon Phillips. Interment was in Old Union cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
